Whisky Bottle

A bottle designed for Coachbuilt, a new premium blended Scotch whisky brand founded by whisky expert George Koutsakis and Ex-F1 World Champion Jenson Button.

The aim was to create a refined, restrained bottle design which was nonetheless unique and very clearly identifiable in a bar or retail setting.

The bottle has subtle elements which reflect the careful curation and attention to detail which goes into Coachbuilt’s blending process. The simplicity of the bottle silhouette belies the care which went into creating it through many iterations and prototypes. The segmented design is a nod to traditional automotive coachbuilding, panel beating and construction, where creating perfect panel gaps is an art form in itself. This was combined with references to the old technique of cage blown glass, which has always intrigued us, resulting in the panels and distinctive grooves in the glass.

The result is a simple yet highly distinctive bottle design which serves as a calling card for the new brand.
